Town Ladies merge with Wattsfield. |
| Kendal
Town Ladies have now merged with Wattsfield, under the new name of
Kendal Wattsfield. Kendal Wattsfield have applied to take part in
the 2009/2010 Cumbrians Woman's league where it will be entering into
its 2nd season. The league itself was in it's developmental stage
last season. However there is now an opportunity to gain promotion
from the 2009-2010 campaign.Kendal Wattsfield will also be entering
the Women's F.A.cup. Their games will continue to be played at The
Lakeland Radio Stadium. Kendal Town FC Club Secretary Craig Campbell
said of the merger "This is further evidence of the club's commitment
to become more community minded and we're delighted to be linked with
Wattsfield FC." |

Town FC announce new Commercial Manager. |
| Graham
O'Callaghan has been appointed the new Commercial Manager at the club.
Graham has taken over the duties of Paul McLennan, who has had to
leave due to family commitments. The new Commercial Manager will combine
this role along with his present position of Club Press Officer. Graham
told The Westmorland Gazette " I'm looking forward to hopefully bringing
some new businesses to the club, raising the profile of Kendal Town
FC and spreading the word about us. I'll be asking others for their
help and input and I welcome any advice that people are willing to
share with me. This is a great community based club to be involved
with and I'm looking forward to a positve season, both on and off

Town FC are pleased to announce the signing of Mark Wane from AFC
Fylde and 2 players who made an impact last year on loan from Fleetwood,
Kieran Walmsley and Warren Beattie. Mark is a center forward with
a proven goal scoring record with Fylde as well as spells at Bamber
Bridge and Fleetwood. Kieran and Warren both impressed during their
short loan spells toward the end of last season and are a welcome
addition as the club looks to push on to the next level. |

two page centre spread divided into 120 equal squares overlaying a
football pitch. All squares are available for sponsorship at just
£15 a square, so your name could appear in all the nearly 4000 programmes

attractions propsed so far include :- Bouncey Castle , Face Painting,
Pin a tail on the donkey, A schools penalty shoot out, Crossbar Challenge
(for the adults) Guess the number of sweets in the jar, Kiddies fancy
dress, 90 balloons to be let off..to mark our club's 90th anniversary...
And we will have a celebrity on hand to sign autographs etc and take
part in all of the above. Adults will be charged £5 and all kids accompanied
by an adult will be admitted free of charge....i.e. NOTHING. So come
along and see a great game of football and have the kids entertained
for free. |

Town FC are delighted to announce that an independent supporter's
club has been formed. The supporter's club has the full backing
of Kendal Town FC but will run indepentantly from the KTFC committee.
Between us we want to take the club to a higher level.
The
elected officials of the Kendal Town Independent Supporter's club
are as follows :- Chairman :- Glynn Maggs. Secretary :- Tristan
Savage. Treasuer :- Becky O'Neil
The £10 membership fee will include a number benefits (still to
be determined by the suppoter's club and the KTFC committee) that
we hope will encourage people to join and increase the profile of

Kendal
Town FC are pleased to announce that manager Lee Ashcroft has agreed
a 3 year deal with the Lakeland club. Kendal is extremely pleased
to hold onto Lee, as they have been several clubs who have approached
Lee for his services. In his first full season at Kendal we finished
11th and this season we achieved the play-offs, a fantastic achievement
with a limited budget compared to other clubs at this level. We
are all looking forward to next season and Lee is already strengthening
the side during close season. Lee said “he was extremely honoured
to be given a 3 year deal and he is looking forward to working with
the club and fans who have all played their part in a terrific season”.
