| I would like to say, all players who played their part for Kendal Town Reserves this season did themselves and the Club tremendously proud. The Lancashire League is a very competitive respected league by the clubs involved and I feel we applied and conducted ourselves professionally throughout. A handful of Kendal U18’s played their part and showed they are more than capable of playing that level accompanied by members of the Myerscough College Football Academy. Also a big thank you to the players who traveled some considerable miles showing commitment and dedication from as far as Burnley and Liverpool We encountered some tough games and produced some great performances over the season which I’m sure the loyal supporters of Kendal would agree. To summarize having used almost 30 players in the season we had a tremendous start playing some exciting entertaining football, however we all know you cannot keep producing performances like those and later we had some tough games which probably had its toll on some of the players who had played throughout. We had some commendable performances from Thomas Bush, Zac Clarke, Michael West and Jason Doddwell to name but a few and finished in a respectable 4th behind some good well organized teams such as Fleetwood, Workington and Leigh.
