Another good work out for the Kendal Town squad in what was an uneventful game with not a lot of chances at either end. Runcorn's 'keeper Robbie Holcroft who was the busier of the two keepers stopped the few chances that Town created. On the plus side, with many first team regulars missing, some young bloods were given a chance and they stood up to the test very well. Players like Jimmy Williams, Danny Wisdom, Gary Baker, David Dempsey, Zach Clarke & Gordon Pirie must be giving Ashy a hard time to decide on his starting XI
